Regional Directors

AHLS Regional Directors

Geographical regions have been established and Regional Directors have been appointed to maximize the medical community’s access to the AHLS Program. Each Regional Director is board-certified in toxicology through the Medical Toxicology Subboard of the American Boards of Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Preventive Medicine (ABEM, ABP, and ABPM), the American Board of Applied Toxicology (ABAT), or the American Board of Medical Toxicology (ABMT). In addition, the Regional Director must maintain current AHLS Instructor status.

When planning a course, the Regional Director can be contacted to potentially serve as the required Course Director, Medical Director, and/or Toxicologist for a course. If you are interested in hosting AHLS Courses, contact the Regional Director for your area and the AHLS International Headquarters.
