AHLS for Radiological Incidents & Terrorism
This course consists of didactic lectures and a tabletop exercise. This course also includes multiple-choice pre- & post-tests that are formative assessments only. No minimum score is required, but participants must attempt both exams to complete the course.
After completing AHLS for Radiological Incidents & Terrorism, participants will be able to:
- Describe the basics of radiation physics
- List different types of radiation detection equipment
- Discuss the evaluation and management of patients contaminated with radioactive materials
- Discuss the evaluation and management of patients exposed to ionizing radiation
